The Full Circle Story

When it comes to story telling there truly is only one place to start… At the beginning. In 2023, founder Blake Granner was employed at La-Z-Boy selling furniture where he ran into an issue that needed solving. His clients couldn’t figure out what to do with the furniture he was replacing. There was only one obvious solution, convince his brother to buy a truck!

So, at the start of 2025 Blake and his brother Cameron bought the first vehicle in the Full Circle Fleet, a used 2020 Toyota Tacoma, and began hauling old furniture away for Blake’s clients at work.

Once Blake and Cameron had a garage full of furniture they realized they had a similar problem to their clients… What do they do with all of this furniture? They made a commitment to not add to the pollution and waste that is killing this planet and decided that nothing they hauled away would end up in a landfill. Believe it or not, finding ways to recycle used furniture can be extremely challenging, but seeing the impact on our environment makes it all worth it.

Every so often, we uncover priceless treasures and are able to return them to the clients they belong to. The picture on the left shows a yearbook from 1976 that was found in one of our first ever full home cleanouts. Our clients moved to another state but we still made sure their yearbook arrived safe and sound at their new home, where it can be appreciated for years to come.

How We Do It

After getting our 5th storage unit to accommodate our inventory we realized we had to find a way to offload this furniture quickly. So the biggest and quickest way we “recycle” used furniture, is to simply clean and repair the piece and find it a second home. The Full Circle Market is our shop page full of great deals and unique treasures from all over Arizona. Each piece has been cleaned, inspected, and graded to ensure that all of our clients receive a great product and are paying fair pricing to help us make this dream come true.

Even though finding these pieces a second home is a large part of how we keep them out of the dump, a good number of the pieces/items that we take out of clients homes are not fit to be rehomed. Pieces that are too damaged to repair, fabric that has bodily fluids or excessive amounts of tears, cushions that are no longer supportive, etc. In specific cases like these we have a couple different methods that might surprise you.

The picture above shows Blake and Cameron breaking down a sofa that is unfit to be rehomed.

The Methods

  • Restore and Rehome – A large majority of the furniture that gets hauled away is able to be restored and given a second home. These pieces are typically commonly used items or extremely rare treasures that we find in decent condition. Sometimes all that’s necessary is a simple cleaning job while other pieces need a little more attention. Either way, each piece that comes through our FCHA Shop page is thoroughly inspected and cleaned before being sent to live its second, or sometimes even third, life!
  • Repurpose – There are some components in furniture that can be used or converted to create new products! Full Circle Haul Away has a whole line of products created from furniture that we’ve hauled, and they can be found right here on our page!
  • Donation – When we come across a piece that cannot be resold for one reason or another, our first thought is to break it down into useable parts. The scrap from these pieces can end up in a vast number of places, but a few key partners are kind enough to help us with most of the scrap. Most of our scrap fabric gets donated to local sewing clubs and some even goes to a school located here in the valley, while the salvageable wood end up getting used in new projects!
  • Disposal – No matter how hard we try, there will always be some things that simply cannot be reused. In the case of scrap that can not be rehomed, repurposed, or resold we have one final option… Recycle! The local transfer stations here in the Valley are very good about sorting through and properly disposing of recyclable material!
